This auction is for one Tiny ADS Interface. This is the cheapest true ADS interface you'll find for sale anywhere. Be warned though - this is a bare circuit board, as pictured. It has neither a case nor the 20-pin connector that is normally used to connect to the vehicle's diagnostic port. You can handle it all you want, but it won't take as much abuse as one inside a plastic case, and you'll need to decide how to connect it to your vehicle yourself.

If you aren't comfortable with running some wires from the interface to your vehicle's diagnostic port or attaching your own 20-pin connector (see picture; 20-pin connector NOT included) then this may not be the interface for you. See here for the same interface preinstalled inside a 20-pin connector, ready to use out-of-the-box.

It is compatible with BMW's original ADS interface and will work with all vehicles and software which BMW's interface worked with. (E36, E38, E32, etc.)

ediabas.ini must be configured with "interface = ADS" rather than "interface = STD:OBD" to use this interface.

As with any ADS interface, a "real" serial port is required to use BMW's software with this interface. USB and some PCMCIA serial ports will NOT work.

No software is included. It is up to you to provide the software and to know how to use it and this interface.

Lifetime warranty - if it ever stops working for any reason, send it back and have it repaired for the cost of shipping.
